Let's look at 21 alternatives to using the word 'VERY'.

* Very afraid = Terrified

* Very angry = Furious

* Very big = Huge  

* Very small = Tiny

* Very clean = Spotless

* Very dirty = Disgusting  

* Very good = Superb  

* Very bad= Terrible  

* Very hot = Boiling  

* Very cold = Freezing  

* Very hungry= Starving  

* Very full = Stuffed  

* Very old = Ancient  

* Very pretty = Beautiful  

* Very ugly = Hideous  

* Very quiet = Silent  

* Very stupid = Idiotic  

* Very tasty = Delicious  

* Very tired = Exhausted  

* Very wet = Soaked

So, I recommend you use these alternative words because it's really gonna help you sound more advanced in English.

Now, I have a question for you! I said that, instead of 'very good' we can say 'Superb'. But there are many many other expressions we can use instead of 'very good.
