The Beatles - In My Life

In this listening exercise, we are going to listen to one of my favourite songs from possibly the most legendary band to ever exit, The Beatles. 

The video clip starts with some typical views of Liverpool, around the time when my mother was growing up amongst the craziness of “Beatlemania”. You can see the famous Ferry that crosses the River Mersey from Liverpool to Birkenhead, as well as the famous Liver Bird building. We then see the “fab four” playing in The Cavern — the first place The Beatles every performed in public. 

It’s a great song, and the video clip gives you an idea of the days when “Beatlemania” took over the world.

Listening Exercise:

All of the answers in this listening exercise are typical Spanish mistakes, either in terms of the grammar or pronunciation, so listen carefully and learn from each one.
