1. Telly = Television

I'm going to stay at home and watch the telly this evening.
 

2. Footy = Football

I'm going to my friend's house later to watch the footy on the telly!
 

3. Sarnie = Sandwich

I usually have a turkey sarnie for lunch.
 

4. Brolly = Umbrella

I think it's going to rain later today. Don't forget your brolly!
 

5. Veg / Veggies = Vegetables

When you go to the greengrocer's, can you please buy me some fruit and veg?
 

6. Brekkie = Breakfast

I like to be alone and read the newspaper when I'm eating my brekkie.
 

7. Cuppa = Cup of Tea

Of course, being English, I always have a cuppa with my brekkie!
 

8. Bevvie = Alcoholic beverage

I'm going to the bar... do you guys want a bevvie?
 

9. Offie = Off License

Oh no! We're out of bevvies in the fridge. Can you go to the offie to buy some more?
 

10. Deffo = Definitely

I'm not sure if I'll see you tomorrow but I'll deffo see you at the weekend!
 

11. Arvo = Afternoon

Have you got any plans for tomorrow arvo?
 

12. Congrats = Congratulations

Hey! You passed your driving test!! Congrats, mate!
 

13. Gonna = Going to

I'm gonna watch the footy on the telly with a few bevvies!
 

14. Wanna = Want to

Do you wanna have a cuppa this arvo? Deffo!
