Here is the key English vocabulary from the conversation lesson, with an example of each word in context:
1. Set a goal
E.g. If you don’t have a goal, there is no finish line, no motivation to keep going.
2. Achieve your goal
E.g. You need to be disciplined to achieve your goal.
3. Personal satisfaction
E.g. It gives you a good sense of personal satisfaction when you achieve your goals.
4. Overcome obstacles
E.g. If you want to reach your goals you will inevitably have to overcome obstacles along the way.
5. To be determined to finish
E.g. I am determined to finish the tasks I start.
6. Day in and day out
E.g. When I start a new project, I work day in and day out to finish it.
7. You hold yourself accountable.
E.g. I held myself accountable to another teacher and, as a result, we both did our first YouTube Lives.
8. Stay accountable
E.g. Staying accountable really helps to motivate you.
9. Start small
E.g. If you set yourself a smaller goal, you will feel less overwhelmed.
10. Get overwhelmed
E.g. It is easy to get overwhelmed when you start a new project or a new business.
