In this first class we will be looking at a quote by Kate Walsh on sharing a room with another person, and discussing some questions based on vocabulary related to the benefits of sharing. We also recommend that you take some time to study the common pronunciation problems and common mistakes that our students make.

The + adjective + thing
We use the following construction to put emphasis on the adjective in a sentence.
the + adjective + thing
This construction usually comes at the beginning of the sentence to add extra emphasis.
