I am a native English speaker from San Francisco, California.
I am TESOL certified and I have been teaching English since 2015. I grew up in a Spanish speaking household, and being bilingual has definitely helped me be a better teacher because I can connect with my students and understand the challenges they face. I also love to learn languages, and I have studied French for many years. I can sympathize with my students, because I know how much effort and courage it takes to learn a new language and feel comfortable in conversation.
I currently live in Nicaragua, where I spend most of my time doing volunteer work, and I am very passionate about helping people learn. I know from experience that learning a new language opens the door to amazing opportunities.
